My unconventional path to the wine industry enables me to bring a unique combination of financial rigor, operational experience and deep understanding of fine wine.  ​Over the past two decades, I have been involved in multi-billion dollar M&A deals during my time at Goldman Sachs, advised the executive team on the paths to growth at PayPal, undertaken an ambitious 10 year strategic plan including significant vineyard replanting and a winery redesign as General Manager of Quintessa, and expanded the global footprint of JamesSuckling.com.
